Piedmont Physicians Group at Cascade Welcomes New Physician

ATLANTA (Aug. 7, 2009) – Piedmont Physicians  at Cascade welcomed Signe H. O’Neale, M.D., to its healthcare team on Monday, Aug. 3. She joins Marc J. Harrigan, M.D.

Dr. O'Neale received her bachelor's degree in accounting from the University of Washington and practiced as a certified public accountant for 12 years.  She earned her medical degree from Morehouse School of Medicine here in Atlanta.  Dr. O'Neale then completed her internship and family medicine residency at Morehouse School of Medicine, where she also served as chief resident.

Prior to joining the Piedmont Physicians Group, she was a solo practitioner also in Atlanta.  Dr. O'Neale is board-certified in family medicine.  Her primary interests are preventive care, women's health, hypertension and diabetes.  She also specializes in pediatric and adolescent medicine and treats patients from birth.  Dr. O'Neale is available for well child/adolescent visits, sports visits, routine immunizations as well as sick visits.

Dr. O'Neale is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, Georgia Academy of Family Physicians, American Medical Association and the National Medical Association.
