M. Steven Cook, M.D. joins Piedmont Physicians Group

ATLANTA (Feb. 1, 2008) – Piedmont Physicians Group welcomes M. Steven Cook, M.D.   Dr. Cook, who is board-certified in family medicine, has more than 25 years of medical experience. 

Dr. Cook earned his medical degree from the University of Kentucky in Lexington where he received the Upjohn Award for Excellent Clinical Proficiency.  He then completed both his internship and residency in family practice at Anderson Memorial Hospital in Anderson, South Carolina. 
 
Prior to joining Piedmont Physicians Group, Dr. Cook was in private practice in Newnan for more than 25 years.  He is the current president of the Coweta Medical Society and is a member of the American Academy of Family Practice.
