Bendi
Indumathi Bendi, M.D., Internal Medicine
Dr. Bendi is an American board-certified diplomat in internal medicine. She completed her residency at Albert Einstein College of Medicine, New York and was awarded most outgoing student in medical school and received honors in Medicine. Dr. Bendi has been recognized for research work in preventive cardiology and congestive heart failure. She has a special interest in treatment of diabetes, hypertension, congestive heart failure, preventive cardiac medicine and women's health. Dr. Bendi's professional memberships include American Medical Association and American College of Physicians. Dr. Bendi believes in providing a continuum of care for all of her patients rather than just treating the disease. She understands disease affects patients physically and emotionally, as an individual and as a part of a family. Therefore, she strives to meet the needs of her patients with compassion, dignity and respect. She believes old-fashioned attention imbibed with state-of-the-art practices in medicine can help better manage diseases or conditions. In her free time, Dr. Bendi enjoys spending time with her family, exploring new places and traveling.

Haq
Fayyaz U. Haq, M.D., Internal Medicine
Dr. Haq is a graduate of the Emory University School of Medicine. He completed his internship and residency in internal medicine at Emory University affiliated hospitals. Dr. Haq is a member of the American Medical Association, the American College of Physicians and is a Diplomate of the National Board of Medical Examiners. He is board certified in internal medicine. Among his many interests in medicine, Dr. Haq has special interests in hospice and palliative care and aviation medicine. He has served as an aviation medical examiner for the Federal Aviation Administration since 2002. Dr. Haq takes an individualized approach to medicine and recognizes that each patient’s needs are different. He builds relationships with patients in order to better help them manage their health. When not working, Dr. Haq enjoys spending time with his family and flying.

Lacayo
Emilio A. Lacayo, M.D., Hospitalist, Internal Medicine
Dr. Lacayo received his medical degree at Autonomous University and completed his residency at Emory University School of Medicine. A native of Nicaragua, Dr. Lacayo is fluent in both English and Spanish. Dr. Lacayo is board certified in internal medicine.
